One of the key objectives of ISCE2012 is to promote the spirit of Scott's journey and raise awareness of out unique polar environments through a dynamic and interactive programme.

• Increase awareness of the Polar environment, its cultures and the unique history of Antarctica.

• Through communication technologies bring the experiences of ISCE2012 direct to the classroom and provide opportunities for interaction with the team members.

• Promote an understanding of the teamwork, physical fitness and mental commitment required to undertake a high risk and remote expedition through interaction with the expedition team members.
