The ISCE and Dartmoor Brewery: Celebrating the Centenary in the ‘Spirit of Scott’
![]()
Registered charity, the International Scott Centenary Expedition is proud to introduce a limited edition ale that has been produced by local brewers, Dartmoor Brewery, in support of the Scott Centenary.
Dartmoor Brewery is one of many local companies that have stepped up to support the ISCE in Captain Scott’s hometown of Plymouth. The ISCE is pleased to have so many members of the business community and local people behind this unique venture.
ISCE
Sponsorship Manager, Mark Reynolds said “We
are very grateful to Dartmoor Brewery for their support of the Scott Centenary
Project. The Scott Celebration ale is a fine beer, and I am sure that Captain
Robert Falcon Scott's father, John Edward Scott, would be proud. John Scott was
a brewer in Plymouth, so this particular product is produced in the finest
traditions of the family. I look forward to seeing this product in many hostelries
in Plymouth and the surrounding area.”
The ‘Spirit of Scott’ beer is available now from selected retailers. For every bottle sold, a donation will be made to the ISCE charity. Be part of this celebration and support the commemoration by raising your glass of Scott beer and drinking to Scott and his companions.
