Antony and the ISCE team are fully committed to getting Scott, the Antarctic and polar science into the classroom, this year and the next, and their aim is to build one of the largest ever on-line and interactive education platforms.

As part of the PLYMOUTH SUMMER FESTIVAL, The INTERNATIONAL SCOTT CENTENARY EXPEDITION are holding a walk on Dartmoor to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Scott’s Walk to the South Pole.
Join us on 14th August, to walk the 10 miles between Marsh Mills, Plymouth and Yelverton. This walk takes its route through the moor along the old Plym Valley Railway.
If you still have energy left, visit the RAF HARROWBEER Airfield, just south of Yelverton, where there are celebrations across this weekend for the 70th Anniversary.
For the more adventurous amongst you, try the walk from Marsh Mills, Plymouth into the heart of the moor near Princeton, and explore further. This is a 25 mile walk, and t his will end at The Plume Of Feathers in Princetown, where food and drinks including our Spirit of Scott Ale will be available!
We are asking individuals, businesses, or groups to take part in this event to raise money for the International Scott Centenary Expedition to Antarctica, and its educational work, in memory of Plymouth born Captain Robert Falcon Scott.
