Having successfully completed the Plymouth Half-Marathon on 3rd June and the Torbay Half-Marathon on 24th June, Henry the Penguin (aka Henry Evans, our ISCE/Telegraph competition winner) is to run several more Half Marathons on behalf of the ISCE... locations will be announced shortly. Of course, run is a euphamism... he will be flipperin' his way along the routes both to raise money for the ISCE and to further raise awareness of the Scott centenary in the local community.
As Henry has put it himself... "please support me and turn out to cheer me along ... boy am I going to need it... 13.1 miles of waddling is a long way!"
If the crowds cheering him along in Plymouth and Torbay are anything to go by he is doing his job admirably - he was a popular feature at both events - and so we hope that people will also turn out to support him later in the summer - both with your cheering and with your donations!
