The plan to commemorate Scott's centenary and the death of the Polar Party is a noble and fitting tribute. I support the efforts of the team at ISCE and wish them all the very best for their plans in Antarctica in 2012.

Newquay Aquarium has come up with the ultimate gift experience!
The Aquarium, based on Town Beach in Newquay, is donating a SHARK KEEPING EXPERIENCE day at the venue. This involves learning about what’s involved in keeping, and of course FEEDING the sharks at the aquarium! This unique day, not available anywhere else, will be auctioned at the Expedition Launch Event at The Treasury in central Plymouth on 25th February. The event starts at 7.00pm, and is to be attended by local MP’s, Dignitaries, representatives of public sector bodies, and business leaders, with as well as local and national media. The event is open to everyone, and is £12.50 per head for a great evening, including a fantastic arctic buffet and a drink.
Expedition leader, Antony Jinman, will be making the keynote speech on the night.
