Captain Scott was one of the great Naval heroes of the 20th century; with this in mind I am delighted to support the Expedition and their campaign to raise public awareness, not only of the achievements of Scott and his team, but also of his continuing legacy and relevance in the modern era.

Following the Royal Navy’s Admiralty Interview Board at the start of September, the final four candidates have been selected from the initial ten.
The successful candidates include:
Henry Evans
Ali Negyal
Kathryn Rose
Joe Woodward
The Daily Telegraph has been following their progress in a recent article. The next stage of the competition will be a two week training course in Norway. This will mark the final stage in the selection process, where one winner and one reserve will be chosen for the final expedition.
